Not sure what to say?

Sitting at home watching the Boise State / South Florida football game made me think about an old Boise State basketball players that I had the pleasure of playing with in Utah the 78-79 WBA season. Steve Connor's name came to mind which encouraged me to do a search to see what he was doing. I was shocked and sadden to see that we had lost an incredible person, friend and teammate during our time in Salt Lake City with the Utah Prospects. Steve started at the point guard position ahead of...

Just thinking of you my friend. 1 year tomorrow. A great friend and person as well. I think about you alot bro. I just wish I could see you and talk one more time. I wish the best to the entire Connor Clan.

I'm not sure why I searched Steve's name today; I was deeply saddened to find this. I too was touched by Steve's amazing gift of friendship. BSU freshman during during Steve's senior year...will never forget beating OSU!!! Keep shooting the lights out my friend, havent seen you for years, but never forgot you!

I just heard about Steve's passing. We were classmates at Borah. I remember him as being friendly, repectful and a great basketball player. My deepest sympathies to his family. So sorry for your loss.

Bus and family,
Very shocked as I came across Steve's obit. Nothing but great memories and respect for the Connor family. Bus was the one who opened up the door for my collegiate career. Played freshman bball with Bus. But mostly tennis. Everything I have can be traced back in some way to Bus encouraging me to go to BSU. Will always remember seeing the pride in Bus's face as Steve became the person and great example he was.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Steve's family. I knew Steve from grade school all the way through high school. Thinking of some of the things we did together as kids like ice hockey on the frozen canal, football, goofing off, having a crush on the same girl in 6th grade, puts a smile on my face.
Steve will be missed.
