Not sure what to say?

Steve liked to make people laugh, and he enjoyed travelling with the people he worked with. I remember Steve was driving the band truck in the dead of winter, after having just bought a new PA system. We were to perform in Minneapolis that night and Steve was in a hurry to go see the equipment up. We were heading up the hill on Lowery avenue and came to a red light at the top of the hill on Johnson street. Steve, in his rush to success, trolled through the right hand turn onto Johnson. He...

Met this great man when my father, Jim Barnes, was on his show that recorded in 2011 in Nashville. Still have pictures with him, Miss Sheila, my dad and I from that trip. He will be greatly missed. My father has since passed as well, but know he'd be saddened to know this as well. Rest in peace Mr. Hall, thanks for the memories.

I have watched most of his you tube videos and enjoyed them all. Glad that Sheila is still making videos. He will be missed for.

Inspirational guy. Greatly missed

He was a great guy and I really enjoyed him on you tube and I still do today. Sorry for everything and God bless you all of you

Today, July 13, 2022, I just finished watching Steve's cooking episode about making Texas Queso Dip which looked delicious. I had just purchased Velveeta cheese and looked on the internet for a recipe and saw his smiling face. It was the first time I watched his show "Shotgun Red." Sorry to learn that he passed on in 2018. He seemed to have a delightful personality with a talent for making good food and sharing it with his audience. I'll look up other episodes of the show and happy that...

It's hard to believe that I probably started watching the videos as he was passing and not really knowing it until July of 2022... today. After catching a few of his videos I thought to myself .. hmmmm... sounds like a Minnesotan... (I'm from Minneapolis/St Paul removed to Vegas decades ago).. YEP... He reads this stuff (or at least can sense it) you know. You Betcha.. Ufda... Doncha know? Rest in Peace but enjoy the next dimension!

I can't believe Mr Hall is no longer with us. I just discovered his YouTube channel a few months ago, I remembered Shotgun Red from the Ralph Emory show. I know he passed nearly two years but I felt a stab in my heart like it just happened. With all the terrible, scary, and horrific events happening in this country in current 2021 I literally keep my TV on youtube and watch cooking and I always feel better about the world knowing men like Steve Hall are still out there. Ms Sheila, his love...

I love his videos and remember Shot Gun Red! Many of his recipes have found their way into my recipe favorites. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends.
