I got lessons from Steve in the 1970's at Maple Grove. He was a good teacher. I was a good golfer when I started lessons with him, but I was much better after a summer of lessons with him. He asked me to change my grip, start wearing a golf glove, and also asked me to change my stance and my swing. Steve was a golfing buddy and basketball teammate in our early years. He was always a pleasant, welcoming friend to cross paths with throughout life, not often enough. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the Jahimiak family.

I knew Steve pretty good when he was the pro at Maple Grove.It was alway fun to talk to.He will be missed.My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.God Bless
