Not sure what to say?

Steve was one of my students at Truscott! After all these years, I can still picture him and his striking, intense eyes. And he was sometimes very silly.....as were a lot of 7th grade boys `back in the day.´ I´m sending my hope for a sense of peace to all of you, as well as to his friends. Keep your memories of him alive and bright; he obviously was a good man who successfully met life´s challenges head on.

The the Ochoa family. So sorry to hear of your loss. Steve was a fantastic person. Always had positive things to say to make everyone he talked to feel good. A gentle giant for sure. Enjoyed seeing him and Deb at the softball fields! May God's grace bless you all.

Our thoughts and prayers for your family. Steve always had a smile for you when you saw him and loved to visit.

Our love and prayers to Steve's family, and the whole Ochoa family. We didn't know Steve, but I knew Robert, and Gene knows Richard. Our hearts are with all of you. May the God of all comfort, comfort your hearts and minds.

We pray that peace surround the family at this time. Some of both our memories were in school, watching from the sidelines, one of the most popular couples in High School. What a love story and what a legacy left behind from that story!!! Although it's been years since we've seen Steve, I do remember at one class reunion, Steve treated us like old friends. See you on the other side Steve!!! We will be holding you all up in prayer as you say your earthly goodbyes.

First my condolences to Mel and Blayne and the family. I have many fond memories of Steve going back to Monroe Elementary where Steve was the toughest kid in school, nobody messed with Steve. We had many football and baseball games together at Silver Lake park with Steve and his brothers, Donnie Campbell, Jim Morgan and the gang. But my best memories were spending 2 incredible summers coaching Blayne with Steve keeping our books and being a very proud papa. I know Steve loved every second of...

I´m so sorry for your loss. He was such a special person and will be missed by all who knew him. Always had a smile and a greeting for everyone. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We both knew Steve. He was a kind soul.Everytime we would see Steve he always had a smile on. I am sure he'll be missed very much.
