Not sure what to say?

I'm just learning about his passing as I moved away long ago. Where to start? He was my math teacher for 7th grade at the 7th grade center (now Southwestern middle school). He made learning fun. He taught us to use math to figure out the engine displacement to determine how many CC's a particular engine had. So for those of us who loved cars, it was a match made in heaven. He started a karate club that year for us as well. Imagine a teacher trying to do that these days. the liability and...

MR.Stephenson was the BEST math teacher he always made it easy. he would give us short quizes that wernt hard and got right down to the point instead of explaining the whole works of a problem IM GOING TO MISS HIM SOOO MUCH ,and so will all the other children that he taught!
ILY mr.stephenson R.I.P.!<333

Mr. Stephenson was my 7th grade math teacher at SMS. Everyone who is close to me knows Math was not my favorite or my strongest subject in school. Frankly I despise math all together, but that year was the most fun I had had in a math class, and he helped all of us out when we didn't understand certain equations. Mr. Stephenson will be greatly missed, as I send my condolences to his family

I will always remeber Mr Stephenson as one of my favorite teachers. He was also a Karate instructor while I was there. He will be truly missed

mr. stephenson was my math teacher and my mothers math teacher! He was the best there ever was and i am going to miss him soooooo much.

Steve was a wonderful person and a great teacher. I was in his class in 1986. We shared many interests and talked about them often. He will be greatly missed. May God be with his family during this difficult time.

Mr. Stephenson was an awesome teacher, he really enjoyed teaching. I am now 38 and tell my girls about what a great teacher he was. He would play a rock n roll trivia w/ our class, he made learning fun.

My condolences and prayers go out to the Stephenson family. Mr. Stephenson was my 6th grade math teacher at Southwestern MS, although we didn't see eye to eye, he ended up being a very cool teacher. You will be missed.

Steve was so unique. He was a great math teacher. I'll always remember his stories about his summer motorcycle trips. He knew how to enjoy life. He loved his son. He was so proud of his son's service in the military. Every chance he got, he would brag. He kept a picture of his son in his uniform at his desk. One day I told him that his son was handsome and looked just like him. He really liked that compliment. He was a proud father! Thanks for the memories Steve!
