We have taught her how to play a few card games, she has gotten good. She was with us on new years to share Lennys passing only to share the last flood of 2022 and then the 1st flood of 2023 came and the entire house, every room, flooded. Now we are living g elsewhere waiting for them to rebuild. I could really use you about now. Oh I could go...

I first met Steve at PG&E Newark Substation, 1969, we worked together for several years there, then we went our different ways in the company, but staying in touch, spending many weekends with my children & His rafting-playing dice games for hours on end. Steven was my maternal cousin. My mother, (Linda), was spoke favorably of him. I, only recently, had made contact with him, which I feel honored to have.

Steven was my big brother and I did not expect him to die. I think I assumed he would be there whenever I needed him because he always has been. I watched for several months as Steven, along with his wife Lyla, fought to survive the many health issues that were in his way. In the end he could no longer fight. His wife Lyla will miss him every minute of every day. I want to thank Lyla´s family for loving my brother. I want to say to Stevens sons Jason and Daniel and his many grandchildren...

I met Steve & Lyla around 1974 1975. We were young and doing our own thing. As life went on we all grew and moved on, and had different relationships and so on. We managed to keep in touch through the years. I´ve never heard Lyla so happy as when she was with Steve. They completed each other. They became one. He was funny. He was kind. Love is the greatest thing this world has to offer. And that´s all we should ever want for our friends. He made her happy. He tamed the lion. So thank you...
