I remember Steve so well. I joined US Vets in July 2010and I would see him from time to time when he was doing his VSA job in his office upstairs. About 7 months after I joined the us vets family, I started working the front desk overnight until morning when I got off. That´s when I started to really knowing Steve a lot better. He would be on his rounds though out the us vets building checking locks and doing his nightly security check like he did every night. And Rusty, the the cat would...

Steve you are now dancing with Jesus no more pain no more suffering, i am so glad i had a couple of years to get to know you, you always put others ahead of you and making sure they were okay and i admired that. I will see you soon in heaven. I will always remember the good times we had at us vets. You are the VSA for the Vets in Heaven.

I love you Daddy, I know that you're with Mommy and that you're both happy now. I'm glad you're not in any more pain. I will always remember you. You were and always will be my Hero. Rest In Paradise Froggy<3

I had the pleasure of knowing this man for four years and this loss really cuts to the core. Being a fellow veteran it always hurts to lose another one.

Steve was one of the most caring and friendliest guys you would ever want to meet. He NEVER said no to a friend, no matter what the need was or when you needed it. Or if he could help you find it he knew where to go or who you should talk to!

Life was not always kind to Steve but he never let you know it or see it. I fondly...

My big brother i love you and will always remember how sweet and kind you were. Babies, children and animals were drawn to you and they are the best judges of character. I am so proud of your service to this country and will always love you "froggy" love your sister "Bear"
