Just heard about one of my favorite people. We are crushed that we'll never have such great visits with him and Paula again.

I worked with Steve while I was an Elementary principal in the Northshore School District. He was a Man of His Word! If he said he would do it I knew I could count on his follow through. I enjoyed his work and admired his ethics. He would take time to chat about family and his gentle soul created an aura of peace even in stressful situations. He was one of my favorite people to work with. I an so sorry for your great loss. Sincerely, Ann Panush

I looked up to Steve during my days at John Marshall Junior High, Roosevelt High School and the U of W. Although I haven't seen him
in 45 years, I would think about him from time to time and wonder what he was doing. Rest in Peace Steve.

Steve was a gentleman and a scholar. I so enjoyed getting to know him while working in Northshore School District. He believed in peace, justice, equity, and caring for each other and our world. He felt deeply about his beliefs and others. He was a fine friend, a kind man, and is deeply missed.
