Not sure what to say?

I was out of the country and shocked to learn, just today, of Steve's sudden passing. What a great guy, an asset to all as a lawyer and judge, a credit to the profession, and always accessible to us "mere lawyers." He will be sorely missed.

Ann, I am sorry to learn of your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Ann
I was very sad to hear the devastating news. Steve was an intelligent, thoughtful and kind man who embodied the best in every aspect of his life. He is gone way too soon. I am so sorry and send my condolences to you and his family.

Ann, I'm so sorry for your loss. I never met Steve but from what I hear he was a truly wonderful person. My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and blessings. Much love and peace, Jenny

Steve impressed me as such a kind and brilliant man. He brought warmth and genuine interest to every encounter with others. Peace, prayers and blessings to Ann and his girls.

A great trusted public servant
Will be soarly missed
Symathies to his family

I was looking forward to working with him again at JAMS and learning from him because he had my highest respect as a judge and as a person. May God give rest to his soul and comfort to...
