Steven A. Brick, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, and a highly respected judge, died unexpectedly on June 10. As a colleague said, "He was too young, too smart, too nice."To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I was out of the country and shocked to learn, just today, of Steve's sudden passing. What a great guy, an asset to all as a lawyer and judge, a credit to the profession, and always accessible to us "mere lawyers." He will be sorely missed.

So very sorry to hear this news, another life gone much too soon. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Judge Brick was a very nice man who I had the honor and pleasure of working with for a brief period of time while at the Wiley Manuel Courthouse. I'm sure he will be sorely missed.

I was devastated to learn of the news of Steve's passing. My heart hurts for Ann and their children and the rest of their family and friends. As a fellow Complex Court judge, I knew Steve as one of the best and brightest judicial stars we ever had, as well as one of the most genuinely nice people I ever met. I was looking forward to working with him again at JAMS and learning from him because he had my highest respect as a judge and as a person. May God give rest to his soul and comfort to his loved ones.
