We just learned of Steves passing. As we become older and wiser we look back at our memories, the highs and lows, with a sense of nostalgia.
I will always remember my days at Toback with a feeling of family. Steve was always part of that. We had many shared memories and it is with a sense of loss that both Debbie and I extend our sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Jamie and Family,
We were so upset when we heard today of Steve's passing. We want you to know that you and your entire family are in our prayers. Steve did so much for the community and for your family, he will be greatly missed by all. We know there is very little comfort that anyone can give you with the many questions that are going through your mind during these times, but please rest your mind that Steve will be with you and the kids for many years to come. Our hearts go out to you and your children for the loss of your beloved Steve. We just heard this shocking news and were saddened by Steve's untimely passing. We were remembering our brief visit when we saw you and your family having dinner before the game at Bank One Ballpark last year and thinking what a lovely family you and Steve have created. You are a strong beautiful person, Jamie, and we want you to know that we are saddened by your loss.

Dear Jamie and Family,
We are currently in Spain and a friend sent us the very, very sad news of Steve's passing. We know it's a terrible loss for everyone in the family. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you here in Sitges. Love, Lance and Jose

Dear Jamie,

Please accept from my family our heartfelt condolences at your loss of Steve. Steve was truly a remarkable man, talented, kind, loving and a friend to all. I’m sure that his achievement early in life by earning the distinction of Eagle Scout helped to shape the great man that he became. As our son Jeff prepares to receive his Eagle Scout rank this coming week, I can trust that Jeff will also be prepared to live a fulfilling life in the footsteps of Steve. May God’s love...

Dear Jamie and family, I came to find out about your loss through Patt Brown, and was quite saddened for you and your family. Take care and God bless you and yours dear Jamie. In Jesus, Marcia Smith
