Fran, Gloria and I were greatly saddened to learn that Ike passed away on Tuesday. What a special, special person he was. Oh, how we enjoyed his steak sandwiches and cold plates (1959-1963). And how we enjoyed 20 years of Gamecock baseball with Ike and Fran. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and and your family in your time of loss. For all of us who knew him, we are all better people because we counted Ike Cogburn as our friend during this life. God bless.

Mrs. Cogburn you are in our prayers. We remember as kids growing up at Northside Baptist the faithfulness and dedication that your family have for the Lord and people. Sharon, Ted and Tim Land

Precious in the sight of The Lord is the death of his saints:Psalms 116:15 My years at USC (1954-1958) my pharmacy friends and I would eat at Cogburn's at least twice a day. I got to know Ike, Ben,and John and the Ladies very well. They were like family. Best place to eat and very good people. 59 years later, I still think about Cogburn's

My heart goes out to a great family on the lose of a fine man. I Remember all the times we would go to eat and he always took the time to comes talk to us. My sister, Glenna adored him and loved working for ya'll. may your family have peace at this sad time..sincerely, Daisy Hartin

Prayers for you and family during this difficult time.I will miss Mr. Ike. Wyatt and Carol Coleman

Our prayers are with the entire family at this your time of lost of a loved one.

What a great restaurant he operated. Downtown and in West Columbia, it was the center of political and social life in Columbia for decades. A fantastic guy and a fantastic family. Thanks for the fond memories that will last forever.
