What can I say. I got call last evening from Mary Jane. I was shocked. I always called Steve once a month as I live in PA.
met him in 1975 as I played Softball and he was was in the stands. So we would go out with team in Yuba City Shakies Pizza. Remember them?? Then he would invite a few of us to parents home. Never seen a place like that as I grew up poor. But his Father and Mother Elroy and Bertie were the perfect hosts. Bertie always made food for us and Elroy was the host....
