Not sure what to say?

I worked a lot of deployments with Steve through Emergency Management. I considered him a Great friend and coworker. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. Gary Gant retired Surry County Emergency Management

Years of love and fun with my cousin,we will miss you BUT WE KNOW you are in heaven with family members and the angels but most of all with Jesus! We will see you again.May God wrap around Kathy and children in these difficult days.

My thoughts and prayers are with Steve´s family. Steve dedicated long and exhausting hours to Rockingham County fire and emergency services. Steve and Kathy and Stephanie have been a part of my life for a long time. Stephanie, whom they loved, babysat my children. My father, Jimmy Wright, thought Kathy and Steve hung the moon. He will definitely missed! Our deepest sympathy is with you all. Love, Sharon and Don Mozingo.

Our condolences to your family, Steve brightened our day at the store with his positivity and family values! How we enjoyed him and his stories of his children and grandchildren and loving wife. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. He is greatly missed by the entire staff of Dollar Tree

Kathy, children and grandchildren we want you all to know we are praying for you all during this time. Remember this is not good bye but rather see you later. Looking for that blessed hope of Jesus´ return. S

Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I know your heart is full of grief. I mourn with you. I pray that our Heavenly Father will hold and comfort you and your family. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Carol Smith Yeatts

Steve's passing is a huge loss for the City of Eden and for Rockingham County as well as his beloved family. He was a giant of a man with a passion for life, and I am blessed to have considered him a friend. See you again soon, my brother.
