Steve was just as it reads in his 'obit', fun loving and full of life. As a Columbia retiree, I was fortunate to get to know Steve while I was there. He was one of the greatest guys I ever met. He will surely be missed by all of those, whose lives he touched.

Steve, I will spend the rest of my days trying to fill the emptiness your loss has left in Lindsay's broken heart and life. I will give it my all, but it will be impossible. I can only hope I can measure up to the rock that you were for her, but I know that is too tall an order anybody but you could ever fill; for I am only an apprentice and you were and will always be the master. You have created and raised an amazing daughter, a woman that I love with all my heart, body, and soul. You gave...

Steve - we laughed when your Mom told us how you got her up at 7 a.m. and when she left the bedroom you made her bed so she wouldn't go back to bed. Also about the refrigerator and pantry not meeting your expectation. You were unique and full of life. You will be greatly missed by us all. Love, Aunt Pat and Uncle Lynn

You had such an infectious positive way about yourself that cannot be described with words. You permeated into everybody's life. Everybody knew Eric's Dad. I am still going to talk to you every day and I hope you will listen. I am so lost without you. I wouldn't be anything without you. You were the best. Even if somebody was on a different wavelength or in a...

Our family loves Steve. He always made me laugh. He always loved to ride anything with a motor. He loves his Gas Company family and family friends. He loved to chat with my son. We all miss him.

So sad to read this. We were kids on E.N. Broadway together. I think I remember calling him Stevie. The three boys matched to ours with one year difference, and I remember his brothers and Bertie and Ed like it was yesterday. My family's prayers and deepest sympathies are with yours.
