Not sure what to say?

I really miss my cousin Steve. I'll always remember the antique watch that he gave me, it was over forty years old and I showed it off to all of my friends. They didn't think much of it but it meant everything to me. He used to tell me all kinds of great stories about himself and our huge family. I'm gonna miss those stories and also having soda, water or beer knocked over and spilled onto my lap. I love ya, Steve.

When I married Paula I felt like I married Steve. If we were going to the girls soccer games we went and got Steve. We spent many nights at the drive-in movies just enjoying ourselves. Most funest of all was Jayhawk Basketball we all had a common interest and loved watching KU together. I would pick steve up on my way home from work and Paula would drive him home after the games. Paula tells me many stories of fun Steve and her have had over the years. Paula could be upset about something and...

Steve! Was one of the best story tellers. Today people don’t have much time or want to talk to the younger generation about the good old days. However Steve and the late Fred as well as Carlos have and had the knack to draw a crowd at the first word. I will never forget those times in front of the Law Office. He sure could make a person late for work and happy to do so. What a wonderful eye Steve had for the finer thing’s new or old. I remember asking at lest once a week (Thursdays) what did...

I remember our families visiting each other when we were younger and hanging around with Steve when I came home from the military in 1974 until I got married in 1978. I have a lot of good memories of being with Steve.

Here'e a toast to an old rugby bubby.

Steve and I met in the 7th grade at Hamilton Jr. High, we have been friends ever since. We lost track of each other in the years that followed jr. high, but we came back in contact when i involved with the law as a process server. He was truly a good friend and I will miss the little guy alot. He always told everyone we ran across that he was taller than I was in the 7th grade.

Steve, we will see each other again.

From the Oquendo family,we love and will miss our cousin stevie very much. He was big part of our lives. He is now with his family in heaven. God bless my cousin Carlos and his family Our prayers are with you.

Steve was the extravert that introduced me to Wichita. I was pretty lonely and homesick for Tulsa in 1997 but because of him I met people and began to think that maybe Wichita wasn't such a bad place after all. He was such an exburant, generous and fun person-a social butterfly. I am grateful that he befriended me so many years ago and sad that he is gone. Melinda
