I learned about Steve's death this afternoon. He was a classy guy, with a quiet and firm core, no doubt the fruit of much experience and not a little conviction about life priorities. It was always a pleasure to see him at CB events, to speak with him, and to watch him walk away with Dona with a genuine air of peace and contentment.
