I learned about Steve's death this afternoon. He was a classy guy, with a quiet and firm core, no doubt the fruit of much experience and not a little conviction about life priorities. It was always a pleasure to see him at CB events, to speak with him, and to watch him walk away with Dona with a genuine air of peace and contentment. May he enjoy the source and multitude of that lived peace in God's loving embrace. Previous commitments keep me from the funeral, but I will certainly pray for the repose of his soul and for his ongoing inspiration for many of a well-lived, well-loved life.
