For over 20 yrs, the math dept. at Gridley High consisted of Steve Jensen, Karen Watson, and me. When Karen and I were rookies, we soon came to respect our kind, self-effacing mentor. Steve truly loved teaching, loved the kids, and never tired of trying new things to help motivate students.
