I was so shocked to hear about Steve's passing. He was such a awesome friend and person. You will be truly missed. It seems like a lifetime ago when I saw Steve last. It was during the summer of "03" and I was in town for a HS reunion. He, Brian and I made the trip to Huntington for the day. We were a little thinner on top and a little thicker thru the middle, but it was a great day. We were back in our element, in the surf and throwing the football on the sand. Hangin' with Steve was always a good time for me. He was fiercly competitive and was ready to defend himself at the drop of a hat. He had a blast...

I'm very sad to hear about Steve. Many years ago we were good friends for many years. I will always remember the great times we had and challenges that we gave each other. He was quite an exceptional athlete and friend. Losing Steve is a great loss.
