Dear Schneider family,
Working third shift in a jail can and is alot of times a dreary place that drains your body and soul. I don't think it is a coincidence that as night faded away to rays of sunlight Steve was there with his smile peeking out from underneath that adorable mustache. As I watch that sun rising up over the jail every morning I will always think of him and his smiling face.

Steve approached every day with courage and a zeal for life. He begins his new life celebration, surrounded by beauty and an everlasting joy. Be comforted and remember the twinkle in his eye and the warmth of his heart. Steve was a dedicated man that required no accolades in his work, dependable as the sunrise in the morning and the sunset at the end of the day.
