Not sure what to say?

If he had patented that fly rod, he would have made a million dollars. We miss him and that rod. They were both great.

Steve was the best: in his own work, his understanding of people, his ability to teach and work with anyone, his great sense of humor and just being who he was.

Selman's have been part of the family going way back to helen and morrie as best friends of my parents. We are sad to hear of the loss of Steve a gentleman with many great accomplishments in his life.

As the Chairman of Urology Dr. Steve Selman recruited me to University of Toledo College of Medicine as a transplant surgeon and urologist ...it took two years before I got to UT finally. One regret, I wish I got here sooner...as I never got to work directly with Steve. However he made sure I was okay once I got to Toledo. He was the hardest working student I ever knew and that translated into his career as a urologic surgeon, researcher, and department head. He was supremely dedicated to his patients and his work and I know the patients appreciated his skills and his persona as a doctor. Even though I hadn't seen...

Steve and I were in the same elementary school class at Old Orchard. By coincidence, I was going through the obituaries for the Toledo area yesterday and saw Steve's name and picture. I recognized him immediately even though we lost contact after graduating. I remember Steve as someone who was a nice guy and friend. I'm so impressed reading about Steve's accomplishments. He led a really great life.

Intimate and personal are words to describe Steve´s service. While I do not know Hebrew, the cantor´s singing was very moving. I did not know how closely and respectably he followed his religion. This may explain why he gave so much to God´s people. I was in awe as the cantor moved from family member,to family member holding their hands and speaking of their personal relationship with Steve. My condolences to Steve´s family and friends. May you Rest In Peace you wonderful man,a childhood...
