Chris,

We both know that there really are no words that can express how very sorry I was to hear of your loss. Many times when I would call, you would be out and Steve would answer the phone and we would actually sit and talk for awhile, it was like I had not only another sister but a brother-in-law too and I had become quite fond of him over the years. I will miss his voice.

He was a good cab driver and a customer

Chris, Kim,and Steven,
We are so sorry to hear that Steven, husband and dad, passed away. This is our prayer for you: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit(Rom.15:13). Our thoughts and prayers are with you - please keep in touch.
Sharon, Wes, Ben and Kelsey Funkhouser

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
I first met Steve when I arrived in Alaska in 1981 and he generously opened his home and friendship to me, I am forever thankful. My sincerest condolences

Chris and family, my thoughts & prayers are with you. Steve was a great man and he was very proud of his family. He will be greatly missed.

Chris
Remember our prayers are with you during this time of loss. Just remember we share your grief and are here for you. I hope the following poem will bring you some comfort.

It's hard to see tomorrow when someone you love is gone
It's harder still to realize that your life will still go on
The Lord won't give you burdens he knows you cannot bear
He will not leave you comfortless you'll always find Him there
We're all our Father's children on earth and up...

Chris
We were so sorry to learn of your loss. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
