I just happened to see this in the paper today. I have been out-of-state. I am so sorry to hear of Steve's death. Having lost a son myself, my heart breaks for you. I am keeping you all in my prayers. If there is anything I can do, please just let me know.

Steven spent alot of time with my family in his pre teen years. He brought many laughs to our family with his silly personality. My heart breaks for your family.

Steve, I love you with all my heart. I will always remember our conversations and your kind heart and beautiful smile. Grandpa and Grandma Thelen thought the world of you and now you and Grandpa can embrace each other while you wait for Grandma to join you. There is a reason for everything in life, and it is not for us to understand. I do know I have a special angel in heaven. Someday we will all be together, and I can hug you once again.
