Oh my goodness, so very sad to learn of Dr. Weeden´s passing. Our sincere condolences and prayers for strength and comfort to all of your family. He was my surgeon several years ago, took such good care of me. Such a kind man and talented surgeon. He was good friends & former classmate at Baylor with our daughter, Lori (Lasater) Akers. She has just recently passed away and her memorial service is set for this Saturday as well....friends uniting as they enter the golden gates together.

I loved this man! Was shocked when he left Tx Hip & Knee & tried for yrs to "find" him. He wonderfully did both my knees & I had a unique, special relationship with him. Twins, he loved you dearly & often talked to me about you. He was a wonderful man. I hope you & Jesus are talking "shop" now & I bet praising God!

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Weeden´s passing. He was a wonderful doctor who did several surgeries on me. I was a challenging patient and he kept my walking. He had a great sense of humor and made time for me during my hospital stays. I had to remain in the hospital several weeks and he even sent me flowers. He will be missed by so many

I worked at Texas Hip and Knee Center during the time Dr. Weeden was there. He was a joy to be around and I am pleased to say I knew him. Russell and I send love and prayers to the family. May you find peace and comfort in knowing he has eternal rest. Tiny Irons

Dr. Weeden replaced my right hip 12 years ago and got me back doing what I loved most (working out). I really enjoyed his sense of humor and giving him a hard time about taking care of himself so he could do my other hip if necessary.

"Dr. Steve Weeden was known for his deep compassion and the genuine care he showed his patients, many of whom he considered part of his extended family. He also brought a wonderful sense of humor to the operating room, a gift that uplifted colleagues and patients alike. He will be deeply missed-peace and blessings, Dr. Weeden."
