Not sure what to say?

I worked with Steve at city prison in 1971. I remember when his wife Sue was about to give birth to Doug. We were working together and he had to leave because Sue was in labor. We had a great time finger printing inmates together. I´m so saddened to hear of his passing. Sorrowfully I just found out he passed today. I´m so upset I didn´t know before. I missed his service, and can´t believe I wasn´t there to give my love and condolences to his family. Doug, Chris and Cheryl. I´m so sorry for...

Steve was one I would confide in during the best and worst of times. He was one of the best people I have ever known and I am grateful our paths crossed. Steve...I miss you.

A complete gentleman. Always positive and had a good word for everyone. I had the pleasure to work with him for three years. May he rest in peace. Friends

Steve and I became good friends when I retired and joined the background unit. He made going into work that much more enjoyable with his friendliness and upbeat attitude. Will always cherish our friendship. RIP my friend. You are missed.

A great cop & a great guy. RIP brother. You will be missed.

A true gentleman RIP.

Steve and I worked together in the Burglary and Background Unit. An excellent investigator and an even better friend. A terrific guy! Rest in peace Steve!

I knew Steve for many years when I worked in the DAs office in San Francisco. We had many cases together and I am proud to say that we became friends during our mutual time together. He was a great cop and a dedicated investigator. He had a great sense of humor and I always enjoyed my time spent with him, both at work and socially. I was very disheartened to hear of his passing and I send to his family my sincere condolences.
