I met Steve, accidentally in a parking lot at a grocery store i was working at, in the early 80s. His girlfriend, had damage his vehicle there, while I was out pushing buggies. I was also working at a bodyshop part time, and offered to help... I was talking to his girlfriend, when he stepped out the store and walked over.... he seem like a giant! I thought he was gonna kill me for talking to his girl! But an absolute amazing guy. I didn't even know he was a wrestler until he came to the shop...

I´m glad my son got to meet you. He had 3 mentors and heroes in his life. You took him in the ring at the age of 5 and showed him what he called his sugar hold and won his first Hvwt State Championship and said we need to call Mr. Williams I used my sugar hold to wear him down! He forgot Doc was gone. My son went on wrestling in high school and playing football with Doc on his mind. He is now 19 with a full ride playing football for university of St. Mary in KS. I met you years ago when I worked for tan salons as the lead salesman . Your workout place and tanning salon were awesome. I grew up you being a child hood hero . And meeting you in person after all those years was amazing spending the weekend with you was even better . I will never forget the child that met his hero and became his friend
