Not sure what to say?

Still thinking of you.

Me deepest condolences to the Vaughn family. Just learned of Steve's death. I'm stricken with grief. Steve was genuinely one of the nicest, most caring individuals on this earth. He always spoke so highly of his son and daughter. I fondly recall Steve and Allen attending a recent Army-Navy football game in Philadelphia, coming by my West Point class tailgate, and sending me an awesome photo collection he took that day. We sorely will miss a wonderful man. May the Good Lord welcome Steve...

My deepest sympathy to the Vaughn family. I was fortunate to work with Steve for many years at BofA and more recently Wells Fargo. Such a kind, generous, thoughtful friend. Always quick with a lunch invitation or stopping to chat just to see how things were going. Also being a native Charlottean, we often talked about friends we had in common, attending AG, and the changes the city has gone through over the years. His love of life, his family and his friends always shone through. He will be...

Steven was such a genuine, humble and good hearted person that will be deeply missed. I recall Steven and I carrying a conversation about God and his love for Christ as we shared a common love for Christ. I am deeply sorry to have received this sad news and I will be praying for his wife, children and the Vaughn family for comfort, strength and peace during this very difficult time. I will repeat a phrase Steven said to me, which was: “God is still on the Throne” and indeed God is still...

I only knew Steven for a short period of time. As many have said if you knew him for 45 minutes you had thought it was for years!! I met Steven walking my Dog (MacKenzie) in the mornings!! He would start smiling about a block away when he saw us!! He was definitely a gentle man & loved to talk (which I do as well)!! I know he will be missed by so many!! My prayers go out to your family & friends!! May he “Rest In Peace”!!! GOD BLESS!!

Steven, you were a great friend, colleague and you will be truly missed. I treasure the conversations we had, the laughs we shared and the insight you imparted on me in the most humble of ways. It was my honor that God allowed our paths to cross ever so briefly and for that, thank you, kindly. Rest in power.

He is sorely missed by his F3 brothers. I always enjoyed our conversations. Pigskin

Steven, I wish I had a chance to say goodbye. To thank you for your kindness. Your friendship, and your always positive attitude. Our fun Y-Guides adventures and commercial real estate chats. You had a contagious happiness to you. I always enjoyed our conversations and being together. You are deeply missed by all who knew you! I pray for your family and hope at some point they can find peace in all of this overwhelming sadness. I know you will continue to look out for them. As was the case...
