Not sure what to say?

Dear Aleesa,

Stu was a terrfic man, and over the years we truly enjoyed the times we spent with both of you.

Andrea, while we've never met, your father always spoke of you with great pride and pleasure.

We know that you will both miss him terribly.

Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Although technically a cousin, we'll always remember Uncle Stu. He was loud and opinionated and we loved him for it. He was a great storyteller and his memory was long. I loved hearing stories of my parents -- the kind they probably wouldn't relate to me. We will miss him.

We had the privilege of attending the celebration of Stu's life at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park. We will forever cherish the wonderful memories of Stu and remember him as a oldest and closest friend since third grade at May Henning School.

I had the pleasure of working with Stu when I worked in special education for CVUSD. He was wonderful to work for and fun to be with. My prayers are with his family.

As a board member for Desert Sands Unified, I was privileged to get to know Stu during his stay in the valley. What a warm, intelligent, and generous man he was! He served CVUSD during a time when they could really benefit from someone with his leadership style, and he made a true difference in our valley. He will be missed.

What a special, great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Stu

We will never forget you and what you did for us here at Coachella Valley Unified School District and I considered you a personal friend. Meeting you and working with you is the reason I,m still here after 14 years on the Board. Rest in piece my friend.

Trustee CVUSD

Stu was a great leader. His dedication to Veterans, The American Legion and the Riders group was the sustaining force for many years. He is a true patriot and will be missed by all. His wit and camaraderie were an inspiration to all who knew him. The District 6 American Legion Riders offer heart-felt condolences to his wife and family for their loss. He does live on in his work and friendship!

I am so sorry to hear of Stu's passing, I also remember him as one of the nice guys from class of "57". My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. May God Bless you all.
