Susan Cooper's imprint was indelible, her wit scalpel sharp, her work ethic unimpeachable. Sue's vision of human nature and it's ability to dare unnecessary deviations, radiographic, and deftly excised with surgical precision. Sue met others' 'issues' with an unabashed affect necessary to the situation. Susan Cooper compelled others to excel and laugh simultaneously. She was loved by many and respected by all. She will be missed but not forgotten.

I first met Sue in nineteen hundred and ninety four on the Surgical Floor. From the start it was clear that she was a very special person. Despite her infectious smile and haughty laugh, she had a no nonsense personality. Her word was her bond. It quickly became evident that simply there was no need to follow up. She completed all that was requested of her quickly and efficiently! Though she made this world a better place, her friends and family can rest assured that she is in a better place!...

I worked with Sue for many years. She was a wonderful person and brought so much joy to all her patients and her coworkers. We all loved her so much. She cared so much about people. I'm so happy that I was able to spend so many years working with such a great person.

Sue always made me feel better when she was on the team. She cared greatly for not only the patients, but for us nurses as well. We love you Sue and you will be missed greatly

Sue and I started at SNMH together many years ago. I loved working with her. This last year we talked about our faith and our love for God. I´m so thankful for our friendship. I hear her music playing now . Love you friend
