My mother inspired those who met her through her volunteer work. But to me she was my mom, someone who never gave up on me and loved me with all of her heart. I will miss you momma! I have a peaceful feeling knowing that my dad is with his bride. Together forever. Love, Babe

Sue was very energetic and her smile would set the tone when she entered a room. As a principal, I was able to watch her as she organized and conducted Scout Nights for girls. She was indeed an adovacate for so many, and would negotiate the highest amount of money for Scouting from United Way. She was always gracious, professional, and honest and willing to be involved in a good cause. She certainly was a good role model for young girls. I admired her professionally, and am blessed to have known her. She will be missed.

We lovingly called her Sister Sue. I remember her coming to spend the summers with us in Ft. Smith when I was a little girl. She loved to say "I got my Mrs. degree at the University of Arkansas". She lost her husband way too young. We had such a lovely time with Sister Sue and Marilyn at Kayln's graduation in Fayetteville this past May. I will always treasure that time we had together. I will miss her so much. Sister Sherry
