Susan Jane BerescikSusan Jane Berescik "What would you like people to know about you?" was a question that often came from Susan "Sue" Berescik, 74, formerly of Trumbull, when she worked with her students on college essays. Her yearbook students at Trumbull High School would always hear a similar...

Not sure what to say?

Memories are in our hearts always even though Sue is gone her memory and love lingers on.

We are so sorry to here of Mrs. B passing. She was the sweetest and kindest lady. We are grateful to have known her and to call her our friend. Our Condolences to the whole family. No more pain. No more suffering.

We are very sorry. She was a very nice lady. You remind me of her, you both are very nice and polite.

I had the joy of getting to know Mrs. Berescik through Trillium over my four years at Trumbull High School. She left an indelible mark on my growth as a student and even my career. The hours and hours I spent in the hole-in-the-wall known as the yearbook office would translate into a visual communications degree and an art direction/advertising career. It was Mrs. Beresick's work ethic and commitment (I do *not* use that term lightly) to her staff that I will never forget. She certainly...

Dear Berescik Family: I knew Sue through Hometown Publications (Trumbull Times, Monroe Courier, etc.), where she was a frequent and pleasant presence at the office. Sue offered many words of encouragement to all of us. Such a nice person, dedicated educator, and good writer and storyteller. She positively impacted so many people, especially youth. While our paths did not cross in more recent years, I'll always fondly remember Sue's upbeat personality. My thoughts are with you.

I am very sorry for your loss. Sue was a wonderful and dedicated colleague that left a lasting impression on me. I recall after her retirement, she was still a presence in many ways and it is really testament to her personhood and professionalism that I will always feel she is still "with us."

Our heartfelt sympathy, Andy, Tara, and Drew. Sue's family and mine lived 2 blocks apart in Mt. Prospect. Bill and Helen were the kindest parents. Sue and I survived Mrs. Dickinson's 6th grade and became close with our Honors English cohort. Even though we lived far apart as adults, we were close in spirit. Much love to you all. Cathy and Jay

Andy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss, nothing I can write or say can ease the pain I know you're experiencing. Lean on your family and accept their support to get you through this this ordeal. Your friend from St. Michael's and High Park.
