Not sure what to say?

I was sad to find out about Susan´s passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor when I moved to Crestview in 1979. We lost touch when I moved, reconnecting off and on over the years. My sons were close to the same age as Allison

Gosh I think about Mrs. Avery often as I do my art lesson plans. I wish I had reached out to her and had no idea that she had passed away. She influenced me in so many ways. She was a rock to a troubled youth and an inspiration for me to pursue art. I went on and received a degree and have been an art teacher myself. She was truly a blessing in my life at RMS so many many years ago. Thank you Mrs. Avery. You will always be an inspiration to me and I hope that I have passed that inspiration...

I remember Susan fondly. She taught art lessons to youngsters at the Carnegie Library in the summer. Such a sweet person. Sending my sincere condolences. Cathy Steele Taylor

I am so sorry to read of Susan´s death. She was one of the most talented of our high school alumni, and her daddy, Mr. Tom, was an institution in Eufaula for his marketing of good will through the A&P. Kathy Couric Mottley

So sorry to hear this news. Susan grew up in Eufaula, AL and she and my oldest brother Forrest Petry dated for two years. Her sister Ellen and I were great friends and graduated together. I haven't seen her since graduation. Forrest worked as a bagger and stock boy for her sweet and friendly dad, Tom Posey, at his A & P grocery store. I loved her mom and dad. Cherished memories of the Posey family!!
