Susan Delk

Susan Jane Delk (nee Lumley), of Milford, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of 84. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Monroe I. and Mary Louise (nee Ferris) Lumley. 

Susan grew up in Montgomery and graduated from Sycamore High School. For over 30 years, she worked for Cincinnati Bell until her retirement. First and foremost, she was a dedicated mother who raised her two sons in Blue Ash. 

She was a beloved mother to her children, Gary (the late Marilyn) Thomas and Dan (Alison) Thomas; wife to her late husband, Edward “Bud” Delk; sister of Judy (Randall) Smith; “G-ma” to her grandchildren, Zachary (Shelby) Thomas, Jaclyn Thomas, Trevor (Ali) Thomas, Cassidy (fiancé James Schroeder) Thomas, and Reed Thomas; great grandchildren, Emma, Aubrey, and Max; extended family and dear friends. 

In her free time, Susan enjoyed needlepointing, baking Christmas cookies, and gardening her fruits, vegetables, and gourds. Everyone who knew her will certainly miss her witty humor the presence of her spunky and sassy spirit. 

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, October 29th at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. Interment will follow on the grounds at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Online condolences may be shared at www.MRFH.com
