Susan and I go way back. When her family first came to town our teacher at Shaffer School asked me to show her around and we became fast friends. So many memories growing up that I will always cherish.... I remember when she first met you, Joe. (Without saying it I could tell she was crazy about you.) We are greatly saddened at the news of Susan´s passing. Susan WAS a great asset to the science department at Merced College. She was passionate in her work with students, many of whom, especially nursing students, we shared. They always spoke highly of their classes that had with Susan. Certainly the success of the Biology Dept. to this day continues due to her instructional modeling and the support she provided to the younger faculty members. I miss you Susan!
