Mary Bruce and I are very sorry to learn of Susan's untimely death. I know we had not been in touch for many years, but until about 10 years ago my mother stayed in touch with Mary, and kept us posted on all your goings-on. I am saddened to read Susan's obituary. I have wonderful memories of her from junior high and high school, especially when I joined Rainbow Girls. She was pretty much my mentor. Her love for Christ Jesus was always evident. I was proud to be her friend.
To this day, I cannot mix cottage cheese with cherries and cherry juice without thinking of Susan. I learned that from her!
I offer my condolences to, and prayers for, her family and friends. May she rest in sweet peace.
