My husband and I were terribly sorry to hear about the passing of Susan Liption. I met Susan while I was a reporter with the Press Enterprise newspaper. I wrote a story on her newly formed Half Century Singles Club. She was a delight to meet and interview. Also she is the person who introduced me to my future husband at one of the club's dinners and subsequently we were married in 2012 and Susan was kind enough to attend our wedding.
