Not sure what to say?

Miss Sue very much. I think of her as I do my research work. She taught me a lot about being an historian! Sending love and light to Steve and Todd and his family. Liz Devine

Wonderful memories of our meeting on the Celebrity Millennium 14 Night South America Cruise. Always looked forward to our Christmas cards to catch up on our travels. May Our Heavenly Father bless you each day until reunited with your sweet Sue. Love, Ed & Jeanie Weglarz (Birmingham, AL)

It was 1976 and I was a 9th grader at Talcott. Mrs. Ludlow was my Social Studies teacher. I vividly remember the mock trial we did in her class. During a discussion with her she made an offhand remark that has stayed with from that point on, "you should be a lawyer." Well, I did not become a lawyer but did spend 36 years in law enforcement. There were many cases that I worked on throughout my career where I would fondly recall her words, and they drove me to always do my best. She was...

Sue was a great teacher and family friend. She had wonderful presence both in and out of class. I will remember her as joyful, inquisitive, animated, and encouraging. She loved her work and it was apparent to her students. Her light will be missed.

To Steve and Family Helen and I are very sorry about your loss. Sue was a kind, loving lady who we all respected at Hall. I enjoyed our relationship on a professional and personal level. In our department of dedicated teachers, Sue was the standard we used as a measure of excellence. We extend our deepest sympathy for your loss of a wonderful woman. Ron & Helen Savino

Mrs. Ludlow taught me at Talcott Jr. High. She sparkled and glowed when she taught. She was pure love as a teacher and genuinely cared about each and every student. I can see her clear as day in my minds eye and hear her sweet concern as she spoke to me before and after classes. She was full of energy always just all over all at once guiding each of us in our studies xo so sorry for your great great loss xo

My heartfelt condolences to the Ludlow family. Mrs. Ludlow was my American Studies teacher at Hall in 1990. She always had a way of making her students feel empowered and special. She brought history to life, and I credit her with igniting a passion for the subject in me, as well as being a teacher I wish(ed) to emulate in my own classroom. May you find peace in knowing she will forever be remembered with love.

I loved Mrs. Ludlow. Her anthropology class opened my eyes to new ideas. Her smile made the room light up. May her memory be for a blessing.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the death of Sue. She taught with my dad, Wayne Loveland, for many years, and Sue was definitely one of his favorite people. May the memory of her many kindnesses and good deeds live on.
