Not sure what to say?

Dear all
My father Calvin Cox (who passed in '06) was a good friend of Susan's, and his family knew Chick and Cookie too, from having grown up and lived for years in "Vero" way back!
Susan was just so lovely, what a shining personality. I remember her beauty of course and real joy for life. I just found out that she passed away, and was so sorry to hear it.
I'm very sorry for your loss, and wanted to add a remembrance here.

Todd, Deana, Ray and Beth,
I was so saddened to learn that Susan had died. I was in Vero the first of March and went into Sassys to visit, but she nor Deana was there. I asked how Susan was doing and was told fine.
I have such wonderful memories of when I was at Johns Island with my parents , Margaret and Alton Hanes and all the fun times with Cookie , Chick and you all. Susan and I hit it off from the moment we met. She was that kind of person........so bubbly and fun, fun.
Please...

To Todd, Deana & boys

Celebrate her life by remembering the funny, loving things she did.... remember her closeness and that she will always be in your hearts and your minds. Vero Beach has truly lost another wonderful human being !!! God's Blessings to you all.My deepest...

Susan was always so fun and full of life. Her beauty inside and out was evident to all. She surely is near the throne of her Maker.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Susan's wonderful family. I have very fond memories of Susan, Ray, and 'Cookie and Chick'. May Susan's memory be everlasting in all of our hearts.

We attended the funeral and it was a beautiful and touching rememberance of a special lady that brought so much happiness. Her's was a beauty, not only of the flesh, but of the heart, the mind and the soul. A wonderful life lived with dignity and grace.

Our condolences to the Smith, Ritter, and Marchant families in the passing of Susan. I have only memories of Susan from so long ago when I lived in Vero. They are all good memories, for sure. I remember being on the cheerleading squad with her and the fun we had. May our Lord comfort you at this time, Lynette LaBay Shelton
