I´m sorry to read this Susan was so kind to my family we lived in the same home I´m sending my condolences to the family.

I just learned of Susan's passing and I am so sad to know that she is gone. I grew up with Susan on Vermont Avenue, we were next door neighbors and oh what fun we had being together. Dear Cara, Michael told me of your mom's passing; I am so sorry you had to lose her. Please accept my condolences and know that I am thinking of you. These times of loss are beyond difficult, and I shall be thinking of you. Bets (Elizabeth Wells Denning)

I knew Susan most of my life, our mothers were best friends and active in politics together. I know how much her family meant to her, and how much she will be missed. A good person and great soul.
