Susan Elizabeth "Liz" Roper

Elizabeth was a neighborhood icon. She touched he lives of so many and had no idea. She was the most humble as they come. Friends and family of mine who've visited over the years that have had only one or two brief interactions with Elizabeth continuously ask about "my sweet neighbor" years later. Rest in peace, my dear friend. You will be missed, but never forgotten

I have know Elizabeth for a long time we went to Sylvan Hills Baptist & Jefferson Ave. Baptist, I will miss you.

I too enjoyed chatting with Elizabeth on her strolls through the neighborhood. She always had a kind word and quick smile. She will be missed.

How I loved seeing, and speaking with "Liz", as she introduced herself to me, on my daily walks in the neighborhood. Her gentle nature and kindness always on display. I felt honored to learn about her life as she opened up to me over the years. Rest in peace sweet Liz, the world and our neighborhood will miss you.
