Not sure what to say?

Dearest Rebecca,

I am so very sorry. Susumu was a wonderful person and friend.

You and Susumu were such a close part of my life for so long. I cannot count the visits I made to your NYC studio during the '90s - was it 100? More? The soul connection between you and your Susumu was an overriding sentiment during all those visits - it came to be almost a study on how much in tune two people could be. Losing constant contact was inevitable after you moved to Wyndam....

Dearest Rebecca,
I want to show my deepest symphathy for the loss of our dear Susumu Sato. He will always be remembered for his talent as a photographer and as a chef. I will always remember how kind you both were to me, and how caring he was when cooking his delicious Japanese plates and soups after a day of work. My dear Rebecca, you are in my thoughts during this difficult time.

Lots of love from Peru,
Your friend Alejandra Hurtado

Dear Rebecca,
I am so sorry to hear of Susumu's passing. You certainly had a wonderful and exciting life with him. While I only got to know the excellent gourmet chef part of Susumu ,I learned of his background as a famous photographer as I enjoyed the studio.
Talking to you and Susumu was like being at a home away from home. I will miss him ! I know you will never forget him. You are a strong person and will be alright!
Love William Wilkerson

Rebecca,
Illness can shake up the world in a way that little else can.
Thinking of you ! Sending you love !

Dear Rebecca,
Dawn and I are truly sorry to hear about the passing of Susumu. Even though we never met him in person, the personal tour you gave us of your collected memories was enough to understand the true love you both have for each other. We understand this is a difficult time for you, but the memories and love you have ,last for eternity.
We long for the physical contact, but it is the spiritual connection that we take with us never diminishes. May you find peace in knowing...
