So shocked and saddened to learn of Syd's passing. We met in 6th grade and were in the same class throughout grades 6-8 at East Middle. A few years ago, we had a nice visit when Syd came in for the boat show and was getting ready for a move back to Auburn. He will be missed at our upcoming HS reunion next year. I hope happy memories comfort your family during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to your family. Syd and I were classmates and friends beginning in 6th grade. We both chose the Coast Guard after school and I know he was successful as Chief Machinery Technician. I remember his love of the Corvair. He was a pleasure to know and to listen to.
