Not sure what to say?

Bob, Sylvia, Pam

Fabulous Nanny

For those who could not attend her Memorial Service, here is what I said:

My Darling Nanny…

Beautiful, brave, strong
Loving, lovable, lovely
Courageous, wise, inspiring...

She inspired us all with her fierce independence, her sharp mind, her physical beauty, her sense of style and most of all with her love.
She would always say, "I'm so lucky I have such a wonderful family." to which I would reply, "yes, and it started with you."
She set the tone for our close...

Sylvia Raiber will always have a special place in my heart! She was my sister in law for many years, My friend for even longer. A devoted wife to Ben and a warm and caring Mother To Bob and Pam. She was always there when needed by a friend and her Grandchildren adored her as much as she loved them. Everyone who ever knew Sylvia will miss her deeply and so I close with sayin May she rest in peace and thank you for being so much to so many of us.

Sylvia & I Coronado Island California 2009

I will always treasure the good times I had with Aunt Sylvia as a child and as an adult. I especially enjoied my visits to her home as a child when Uncle Ben was still alive. Then all these years later re connecting with her as an adult and spending time with her every year in Coronado. She was always so encouraging no matter the circumstances. It makes me so sad to know she is gone.

Sylvia was a wonderful "Lady" who enlightened everyone's life with her wisdom, love and care. She will be missed so very very much. My sympathy to her family.
