Read MoreSylvia was such an icon in our choir at FUMC! I always enjoyed sitting in front of her, because it helped me sing better, AND sing the right notes! And her humorous quips were always refreshing. We've missed her so much since she "retired" from the choir, but we also know that she's now a part of the ultimate choir in heaven! God bless her family and friends!

Sylvia was a beautiful person. I met her at the Women's Club, and I am glad and honored to have met her! May she be singing and dancing with our Lord Jesus!

My travel mate, roommate on Pilgrimage trips, and fellow alto -- I loved her outspoken way with words when they were needed, and I shared her love of music with the ChCh. May she rest in peace and joy. My mom lived just across Slide Rd., and Sylvia was always available to pick her up for concerts and music activities. They shared casserole recipes over the years, and were at Wedgewood in their waning years. I'm sure they're having tea and cookies, as well as a great chat, in Heaven above....
