Talmadge (Tom) Dewitt Beardsley of Ithaca NY, passed away peacefully June 20th 2025, at the age of 80.
Born in Ithaca NY, on October 30th 1944, the son of the late Elvin and Eunice (Shroeder) Beardsley. He was predeceased by his brother, Curtis G. Beardsley, and sister, Shirley J. Beardsley. Tom is survived by his daughters Sheila Horn of Port Richey FL; Tammie (Bill Ash) Beardsley of Syracuse, NY; Brenda (Kevin) Dewitt of Girard KS; his grandsons Gregory Horn and Jason Ash; his sister Melody Beardsley Bentley of Ithaca NY.
Tom worked his enter life at Morse Chain / Emerson and retired in 2007. He was warded a Silver Veteran's Badge as an honor conferred by Grand Lodge of Machinist and Aerospace Workers in 1996. He volunteered numerous years with the Enfield Food Bank.
Throughout his life he had a strong interest in cars, from rebuilding them, to selling them, and admiring them at car shows. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, farming, crafting, and spending time with his daughters.
Tom will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.
At Tom's request no services will be held.
