When Tim and I were in our twenties we were members of Faith Bible Church. We met in a school. I remember driving in the rain with two babies. Tim was on a trip. I prayed for God to help me find church. I drove up to this school where we met. In the few years we were there Dr Ted and precious Pat and their son Ted III ( was young then), blessed us with Bible sermons that made Gods Word coming alive!!! He also preached on Jesus coming back. And look at us now!!! I´ll forever...

Dr Ted was a big influence on me As a student in youth ministry at MCC. I was a new Christian and he gave me the vision of the School campus was a 40 acre mission and that´s the way I did ministry what a great man. My girlfriend at the time also new Dr Ted when she was a little girl because he was a family friend and said as a little girl " I want to Marry Ted", and she did me. Mrs Place and Dr Ted did our pre-marital counseling so good.

Ted believed in me. He was my youth pastor and friend. He taught me a lot and showed me even more about Jesus. I’ll never forget his signature somersaults! A true man of God.

Ted Place was a Big influence in my life not only did he teach me on youth ministry but also gave my wife and I pre-marital counseling .

As a new believer, Ted was very important to my growth as a believer and to my developing a love for Scripture, especially the Old Testament.

Several weeks ago in a lesson at school, we were reading about sea turtles. I told my student I knew a man who could ride into shore on the back of one of those giants!

Many years ago as teenagers we were all down at the beach when Ted Place jumped on the back of an incoming turtle. Unforgettable, but even more memorable, was the laughing, fun-filled life of a man sold out to the Lord, lived daily in front of us all. Thank you, Ted Place!
