Not sure what to say?

I jumped at his center in the 90´s. I remember him being a pretty nice guy.

If you didn't love Ted you didn't know him. I made around 800 jumps in Sheridan over a 2 year period. Truly the best DZ on earth if having a good time mattered, and it did. Oilcap told me about Teds passing 6 months ago. We lost a legend that day. Condolences to his family.

I just learned today about Ted. I first met him while I traveled from Richland Washington in 1972 on my very first parachute meet from the Tri-Cities. I was still in high school when I started jumping so I traveled with a few of the old-timers to his drop . Always found Ted as a character and a person that would listen to you. Sorry for everybody´s lost. . Ted was a nice guy. I currently live in Minneapolis Minnesota. Been here for about 30 years now. Peter Mootz D-5657

Learned a lot from Ted and co-worker's / skydiving buddy's.
Loved to go out pack / jump and have fun all day and way into the night.
Great man ( Ted ).

I considered Ted a friend, he was a blast to jump with. His smile and enthusiasm for skydiving was infectious. So sorry to read of his passing.

I learned how to fly out at the Sheridan Drop Zone, It was a busy and exciting place because of Ted, humor , antics and excitement were never in short supply

feel very sad that I have lost my most beloved companion of 45 plus years. We traveled many, many many times across county with one another We almost married at one time. I was so very pleased that he chose to marry his beloved Ginny. I was heart broken when he called me in tears that his Ginny had passed. I can not tell anyone how devastated I was/am to hear of my beloved Ted's passing. Please anyone ,contact me with any info regarding my loss or how to contact his daughter Gwen's...

For 14 years or so I jumped with Ted as well as I jump-mastered for him. I did a lot of work for Ted at the loft and at his house and hanger down at the end of the runway for which he paid me in jumps and my pilot licence completely(plane and instructor) To us who knew him then he was affectionately known as "Short Round, thanks to Otis." I can still remember him jumping into the Sheridan City park at Easter all dressed up as the Easter Bunny with candy for the little ones that loved it as...

I will always remember the time (1977) when I was a novice skydiver parachuting through clouds over Sheridan, and Ted suddenly appeared in a big open space, laughing as he glided by and exclaimed, "Woo-hoo, this is fun!" Then he disappeared into the clouds again, still laughing. When we landed, he signed my log book (as jumpmaster) for that jump. His humor and enthusiasm made that particular jump an unforgettable one. I'm saddened to hear of his passing.
