TEDDY RICHARDSON Obituary

TEDDY "TED" C. RICHARDSON, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Born in Bluffton, Ind., Ted was a truck driver with USF Holland for 35 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of Pentecostal Holiness Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Ted was a humble and unselfish man who enjoyed fishing and making people laugh. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Mildred Richardson of Fort Wayne; son, Michael (Terry) Richardson of Waterloo, Ind.; daughter, Becky (Chuck) Fitch of Fort Wayne; sisters, Romayne St. John of Tenn. and Marilyn Melching of Florida; grandchildren, Holly, Shaun, Dawn, Eric, and Daniel; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Richardson. Service is 1 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior to the service. Military honors by American Legion Post 241 at Lindenwood Cemetery. So very sorry that we have lost this wonderful man,, I have a lot of memories of Ted and his family growing up, hanging out with his son Mike, and going fishing with Mike,, Ted you will be missed very much, I became a truck driver from stories I have heard from Ted, he always made it seem like a fun thing to do, The Coleman family sends thoughts and prayers to the whole family.
