I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was my kindergarten teacher. All I can remember is the warmth I felt on a strange new day of going to school. She made the day and later the year. The best teacher I had. I remember an assignment we had yes in kindergarten was to write a story. We could only scribble lines but she had us tell her what we were writing and she sat down with every kid and wrote the story. What an amazing woman. She will forever be in my heart.

I will always remember Mrs. Wright as my Kindergarten Teacher at St. Joseph's School in Newton NJ. I was a shy, quiet child and she was Kind and always Smiling and so friendly... she was the Perfect teacher for someone like myself. I will never forget her for that. What a Wonderful Person she was and an Unforgettable teacher, too! I will always remember Mrs. Wright as my very first teacher ever , who set me off on a Positive road to education in my life.

A true wonderful huge hearted Lady of Newton. If you grew up in Newton and went to school there. You know Terry and the Wright family.
My sincere condolences and prayers to all of you at her passing.
A beautiful post about her dedicated amazing life. She touched so many and made a difference. She truly earned the wings to head home to the arms of God.

Wonderful memories of my first ever teacher in my life. She really stood out as a mentor and a great lady, being my kindergarten teacher 60 years ago. Sorry for your loss Colleen and the rest of the Wright family.
